DAY 1-1: She packed my bags last night, pre-flight. As I stepped off the scaffolding and into the shuttle, I turned and looked back towards the launch command center. She was there, watching me through the window in the blast shielded observation deck. I am risking everything for her, but she is worth it. The door slammed shut, and sealed with a hiss. I sat down in the cockpit seat, buckled up, and waited for the Countdown.
